My former intern April wandered in yesterday evening. I never really know what to expect from her... she is always up to something awesome!
Well, I couldn't have seen this coming. She rolled in with a plastic batman mask on as she proceeded to tell me how she had been driving around with her friend while wearing the mask. I found this to be super entertaining as well as a bit ridiculous at the same time.
In case you are wondering what April looks like as Batman... look no further.

Who knew that Batman wears a pink sweatshirt?
I love writing about Miley Cyrus. She is a public figure - photographed all the time and she knows this. That is why I do not feel bad about featuring her in "bad behavior stories". Liam Hemsworth has officially been her boyfriend for 3 months and counting! Here is a photo of the cute couple from Eonline:

Maybe... just maybe, they should take that somewhere private? Doesn't Billy Ray Cyrus have a pool that that can make out in? Why do they have to be out in the public on a beach??? I wonder if her new boyfriend is proud of her Teen Choice Awards pole dancing performance?
So many questions that we may never know the answers to...
I continue to be amazed how much time and consideration goes into planning a wedding. Right now Gerry, my fiance, and I are JUST trying to decide on a hall to have the reception.
We have the church picked out in St. Clair... but the reception location is turning out to be very difficult!! The Thomas Edison Inn (shown below) has always been a special place for us, so it seemed like a no-brainer that we would have the reception there, right there with a view of the boardwalk and the Blue Water Bridge.
WRONG. So far, our guest list is about 100 people larger than that room will hold. I've driven around the greater Port Huron area numerous times looking for a large venue with a water view. As always, I love any advice. Would you recommend the hall you got married in? Why or why not?
At any rate, the search continues. When we find the perfect venue... I'm sure I will be writing an excited blog about it.
Miley Cyrus has started her journey to become the next teenage trainwreck like Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera in their younger years. First, if you recall, around a year ago, the 15 year old Miley was involved with what some said was a racy photo shoot. Honestly, I didn't think those photos were a big deal. Until now.

Next, she showed off her pole dancing moves at the Teen Choice Awards last month. Classy. But don't worry, her dad Billy Ray Cyrus said it was OK and she was expressing herself as an artist. That's strange to have your dad see you dance on a pole... much less approve of it! My dad would have me killed or maybe sent off to a remote location to live with Nuns for a few months.

Yesterday, another Miley Moment occured. She decided to walk an award show red carpet with a black dress and fishnet stockings! Maybe I am old fashioned, but I always thought fishnet was reserved for halloween, strippers, and sexy time. She is still 16 years old!
I can't wait until the news comes out that she had a meltdown and shaved her head. I give her another 6 months max.
Last night, MTV put on their annual Video Music Awards in New York. It was eventful, as always, probably the most exciting portion was when Kanye West crashed Taylor Swift's acceptance speech. If you want to read about that, check out Sean & Erin's Blog. It seems like everybody is defending Taylor Swift. Really... how can you not like her? If you haven't seen it yet, I posted a video of her song Thug Story... it's pretty funny! Just click on my June posts.
ALSO, while we are talking VMAs...
I think Katy Perry had the absolute coolest accessory yesterday... her dress had metal spikes on it. I'm pretty sure if someone ran into her, they would probably have to at least get a band-aid.

Ultimately, I think the dress is weird as far as how it is cut and the material it is made of... but I think Katy Perry really pulled it off great. I don't know who else could do that.
Maybe not wedding season... but definitely wedding planning season! Over the Labor Day holiday, my boyfriend (and co-worker) proposed to me! Needless to say... I said YES. I am absolutely THRILLED.
Here's what I didn't expect: If you haven't planned a wedding recently... consider yourself lucky. We are less than 1 week into the planning and organizing and it is unbelievable all the information that you need and all the places we have already contacted! ...Not to mention all the money that is soon to be involved.
It's hard to even figure out where to start. Any tips? I would love to hear your success stories (or maybe things NOT to do). I'm new to all of this... all info is appreciated. :) :) HELP!
I am having a very difficult time today. Someone has removed my Toll House Cookie Dough from the work refrigerator. Today, I went grocery shopping and considered purchase a slab of cookie dough, but then I remembered that I already had one in the fridge at work. From that point on, I was excited about eating my cookie dough.
Since tonight was unusually busy, I didn't get a chance to have a snack until now (roughly 11:45PM). Imagine my surprise when I searched the whole fridge and freezer and found no cookie dough!!!
Now, I know that no one cleaned the refrigerator... because while I was searching, I discovered a salad so old that it was becoming a green liquid. I also found a few varieties of moldy lunch meat. Obviously, I don't eat other people's salad, lunch meat, or old Taco Bell that I find... because that is still in the fridge. So WHY my cookie dough?!?
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the recent cookie dough thefts.
