3 Celebrities

Big stars are dropping like flies over the past couple days and it doesn't even seem to be drug related.

To recap (in case you have been living under a rock) Detro
it-born Ed McMahon died on Tuesday at the age of 86.

Farrah Fawcett died after a long battle with cancer at age 62. She of course was famous for being one of Charlie's Angels... and t
his evening - out of nowhere - the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, dies from a heart attack. Read more here.

The scary part is he was only 50! These stars all had a huge impact on pop culture and will be strange without them in the news (especially Michael Jackson). Which of these stars had the biggest impact on you? Leave me a comment if you want to.

Twitter & The President vs. A Fly

After resisting the latest social internet site (Twitter) for many months now... I caved into the pressure and I am officially a member. I know you are supposed to update it all the time... but I'm not sure I'm ready for the commitment just yet.

Anyway, be the first to check out my brand new Twitter page. Just search for AnnieSpears. I would love to hear from all of you Twitter pros. Let me know what you are doing. I'm excited to try the site out!

Also, if you don't have an account, it is easy to sign up. Please do!!! It should be fun! :)

Completely unrelated (but definitely worth mentioning), a video of President Obama killing a fly out of mid-air is ALL OVER the internet. It doesn't matter which political party you are from... I think we can all be proud of our President for his quick fly-swatting skills.

Hope you enjoyed the video!

Red Wings Thoughts

The Red Wings are soooo close to winning the Stanley Cup. I jumped on the hockey bandwagon a couple weeks ago when they began the final round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. I am excited for the Wings and I hope they win... but now I am tired of the suspense.

I think they should just play 5 games in a row, get a day off, then finish any games left in the series. The Tigers play games every day... why can't hockey be the same?

All joking aside... LET'S GO RED WINGS!

More Working Out With The Wii

I still don't know if I am sold that a video game can be a productive workout... but I am coming around.

Nintendo has announced a
new Wii Fit Plus. Added features include 15 new balance games which include juggling and skateboarding plus 5 new strength training activities. You can now tell the Wii which areas of the body you want to focus on and also determine the length of your workout to best fit your busy lifestyle.

If you have a Wii Fit... have you found that you are more inclined to work out with it than without it? Have you seen any results??? Like I said... I'm skeptical, but open to opinions.

Even if you don't have the Wii Fit... do you think the game is a good concept for getting in shape?
